Hello! Here’s Margherita writing from Leszno, Poland!
Unfortunately, this will be the last time you will hear from me as my project is now only two weeks away from its natural conclusion. Nevertheless I want to take this moment to summarise my
experience and share it with you.

After one year as intense as this was it’s hard to find the right place where to start. My time here seems to have started not so long ago and yet it’s already at its end, and I would be lying if I said I wouldn’t want it to rewind a little bit. In only twelve months I’ve grown more than I could ever imagine: professionally, I’ve gotten comfortable and confident in things I spent my life being scared of, I discovered unexpected things I am good at and even more unexpected things I like and would possibly like to pursue in the future. But even more so, I’ve grown personally. The range and intensity of personal and social experiences I’ve had the chance to live are nothing short of extraordinary. For twelve months I’ve shared my life with some of the greatest people I’ve ever had the luck to come across, and this is the thing that, above it all, I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

This experience was not perfect, I’ve had my bumps along the road and the occasional, although rare, homesickness, but despite it all, this has been the best experience and the best year of my life, and even though I’m exited to move on to the next chapter, I’m pretty confident I will never be able to completely let go of my time in Leszno.
