What is Erasmus+ Accreditation?

Erasmus+ Accreditation is a strategic recognition awarded by the European Commission to organizations committed to implementing high-quality learning mobility activities for young people and youth workers. It enables simplified access to Erasmus+ funding for mobility projects, ensuring a long-term approach to international learning and collaboration.
PiGreco-SEMI di Intercultura APS, based in Faenza, Italy, has been accredited under Key Action 1 (KA1) – Learning Mobility of Individuals, allowing the association to develop structured youth mobility and youth worker training programs until 2027.

Our Mission & Objectives

PiGreco-SEMI aims to enrich the local community by promoting multiculturalism, non-formal education, and active citizenship through European projects. Our Erasmus+ Accreditation allows us to:

🔹 Become a reference point for youth mobility in Faenza and Romagna Faentina
By expanding our network, increasing the number of Erasmus+ projects, and informing young people about mobility opportunities, we aim to foster international experiences among local youth.
🔹 Promote inclusion & diversity through creative learning
We use non-formal education tools to engage youth with fewer opportunities, including asylum seekers and marginalized groups. Our motto, “We are all equal in creativity”, reflects our belief that creativity unites us beyond our differences.
🔹 Support local organizations in accessing Erasmus+ funding
PiGreco helps schools, youth centers, and associations obtain Erasmus+ funding, guiding them through project development, proposal writing, and implementation. We have already supported several local stakeholders in applying for Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps Quality Labels.
🔹 Enhance youth workers’ professional development
By organizing staff mobility programs, PiGreco strengthens the skills of youth workers, equipping them with innovative tools and training to support young people effectively.
🔹 Encourage active citizenship and European values
We design projects that empower youth to take part in local and international civic initiatives, fostering critical thinking, environmental awareness, and human rights advocacy.
